Iets over mijzelf: Rineke de Jong’s schilderijen zijn een samensmelting van spontane abstractie en concrete figuratie.  Ze begint louter intuïtief, zelfs impulsief, zodat een chaotische, suggestieve ruimte ontstaat. In deze kleurenchaos ontstaan haar figuren. Zij maken het schilderij compleet, waarmee ze haar zoektocht naar het compromis tussen abstract en figuratief realiseert. “Mythologie is vaak mijn inspiratiebron. Ik probeer zowel het goddelijke als het menselijke weer te geven.” Rineke de Jong heeft veelvuldig exposities in binnen- en buitenland. About me:  Rineke de Jong’s paintings are a fusion of pure painting and concrete figuration. The abstract phase is, purely intuitive, often painted hastily, resulting in a chaotic and evocative space. Figures arise amongst the chaos of color, which make her painting complete. Her quest is exploring the compromise between abstract and figurative art. “Mythology is often my source of inspiration.
